Since September 2019 and as part of its CSR approach, Actradis has set up a recycling solution for its office waste with the company “les joyeux recycleurs”.
“Recycling at the office has never been so easy”, according to Les joyeux recycleurs; or how to combine the useful with the pleasant by opting for a global solution for recycling everyday waste.
Les joyeux recycleurs offers its B2B clients an all-inclusive collection and recycling service for their waste of all kinds (paper, cups, coffee grounds and capsules, cans, etc.). Mobilised for an ambitious social project, the happy recyclers employ, train and support employees at the end of their professional integration process. And for each kilo of waste recycled, they donate 5 euro cents to the ARES Atelier association. To find out more, click here for the french website.
In 2021, 176 kg of waste was recycled by the happy recyclers on behalf of Actradis, which is half the amount of waste from the previous year. Actradis carried out a carbon assessment in 2020 which resulted in an emission of 49 tons of CO2 (to read our dedicated article, click here. Since then, both individual and collective mobilisation has been put in place to raise awareness of environmental and social issues.
